Around the year, we are always hunting for a stellar Ethiopian coffee to feature because it reminds us of our early honeymoon days of falling in love with coffee – at least coffee as we know it today. Being one of the oldest coffee cultures in the world, it only feels right to pay homage and celebrate this ancient tradition with you all.
This coffee is brought to us by the coffee-growing community in Guji, who bring their picked fruit to the Shakiso washing station to process their harvest for international trade. It's a fully-natural processed coffee, yet keeps a delicate and balanced cup profile, unlike the characteristic "fruit-bomb" funkiness we are accustomed to. We roast this coffee light and fast, to accentuate its melon sweetness and floral, jasmine-like aroma that perfumes the room every time you brew.
