It's not easy to find a cold-brew coffee; we know you have high expectations. We know you love your rich and creamy iced rocket fuel with a splash of oat milk or half and half or both. To find a worthy successor to our Rio Coco was no simple task, but we think we've found the one.
Brought to you by Juan De Dios Castillo Aruaz – who founded and manages his own farm – this new coffee from Jinotega, Nicaragua takes on the mantle of Souvenir's cold brew. (In fact, we think this one is even better.)
What fills us with more jitters and excitement is the fact that we're working with Juan, who has always had the dream of selling his parents' coffees to the world. This was the whole idea behind J&M Family Coffee: to create a privately-owned export company to sell their parents' (Juan&Miriam, or J&M) coffee directly to international buyers.
Since achieving this first goal, Juan started his own farm, Finca El Pastoral, to continue a generational legacy of coffee farming and agriculture.
We are pumped to enjoy and serve you his coffee this year, and we're exploring opportunities for investing in long-term partnerships with coffee producers like Juan, who value family, agricultural heritage, and relationship-driven business.
Swing by our cafes to try out Juan's coffee on cold brew.
All our coffee is 12oz whole bean; please let us know if you need your coffee ground in the"Special instructions for seller"in the cart.
